Lakeside 400, Broadland Business Park

Norfolk Primary Care Trust is latest new tenant at Broadland Business Park

Norfolk Primary Care Trust (PCT) is the latest organisation to relocate to Broadland Business Park.  The PCT is moving 250 of its staff from nearby St Andrew’s House to the recently completed Lakeside 400 building.

The PCT is the latest in a line of new occupiers of offices on the Park, which include Norwich Union, Homeserve, Lloyds TSB, Royal Bank of Scotland, the Health & Safety Executive, Lucas Fettes, Norfolk County Council and the Learning & Skills Council.

Lakeside 400 is the most recent new office building to be completed at Broadland.  The building which was designed by Norwich architects, LSI, comprises 26,300 sq ft on three storeys.  It is constructed to a very high standard and includes a range of environmentally efficient features.  It has parking for cars, motor bikes and bicycles and is well served by public transport.

David Stonehurst, the PCT’s Director of Finance said : “To move our commissioning staff to Lakeside 400 will provide an appropriate working environment that will help to maximise efficiency through improved communications and team development.”

Roche Chartered Surveyors negotiated the letting of the building on behalf of the developers, Lothbury Property Trust.  It represents the largest speculative building constructed in the Norwich area during 2007.  The asking rent was £16.50 psf.  The PCT are expecting to move into Lakeside 400 in the Spring.
