Wyman’s Business Estate, Fakenham

New Business Development for Fakenham

Fakenham welcomed its latest business project with the unveiling of the new Wyman’s Business Estate by Mark Camacho of Waverley Properties Limited.

The development of Wyman’s Business Estate, Wyman’s Way, Fakenham is being undertaken by Waverley Properties Limited.  The 1.67 acres of land involved were serviced by and purchased from North Norfolk District Council.  The entire project involves an investment of approximately £2.5m.

Phase 1 of the development, which is due to be completed in July, comprises a terrace of up to four units, totaling 15,500 sq ft and Howdens Joinery has already pre-let one 8,000 sq ft unit.  The scheme will eventually provide up to 27,000 sq ft of light industrial and warehouse space.  Other tenants and purchasers are currently being sought, with Roche Chartered Surveyors acting as selling and letting agents for Waverley Properties.

James Allen of Roche Chartered Surveyors commented : “Wyman’s Business Estate will provide a range of brand new units, built to an excellent specification with the advantage of 6 metre high eaves.  Howdens Joinery will be a great catalyst for the scheme, which offers flexibility in unit sizes, from 2,000 sq ft upwards.  The initial enquiries from both tenants and purchasers are very encouraging.”
